Drone Roof Inspection
Drone Roof Inspections are available in Berkshire and Essex areas only.
Some areas of a property can be difficult to inspect safely from the ground. Roofs, chimneys, high gable walls, and complex rooflines may be recorded as having limited access in a standard home survey or may conceal defects that are only visible from above.
A drone survey does not replace a traditional RICS home survey. Instead, it supplements the main inspection by covering areas that are otherwise inaccessible. A qualified surveyor interprets the aerial footage alongside the findings from the full property inspection.
The high-resolution footage enables the surveyor to assess elevated and hard-to-reach parts of the building in greater detail.
As part of a home survey, a drone roof inspection typically costs an additional £150 to £250, providing high-resolution aerial images of areas that are difficult to access.
What it covers
- Roof coverings, chimneys, flashings, and ridge tiles
- Guttering, fascias, and soffits at height
- High gable walls and upper-level brickwork
- Hard-to-reach areas on complex or multi-pitched rooflines.
